The overarching theme throughout all of my personal work is similar in visual tone to my comic illustration, but strikingly contrary to the emotional concepts behind each piece.

 

This theme is best concisely put as "Innocence versus Violence" and my concentration reflects that sentiment.

In these works, I meld imagery and colors typically associated with sweet, happy, child-like essences, combined with darker themes of pain, isolation, abuse, danger, sickness, and other morbid/violent motifs. The middle-ground of this juxtaposition is where my heart lies, and I use my personal work to express that.

Everything here is extremely raw, but I hope you can find some kind of comfort in these pieces, even if it's just knowing that someone else might feel similarly.
