SELF EXPRESSION /// SELF LOVE
I've been in love with photography for as long as I can remember... I used to carry around a bag full of disposable camera film and *zzzCLICK* my tiny heart out. I can only imagine how annoying that must've been, if even now I'm always bugging friends with a phone camera in their faces!
Over time, I ended up on the other side more often than behind the camera. Though it's still fun for me to dabble with!
I frequented local beauty pageants as a child, ringing in trophies taller than my little kid self, and then got into professional modeling via networking. It is by no means my actual career, but it is something I've come to really enjoy. It's another outlet for my to express myself, including fashion, makeup, props, and set design, which I style myself unless otherwise specified!

I work in a popular New York College Town as an art model, working in figure drawing, portraiture, and photography classes.

One of my greatest struggles has been my self-confidence, and growing up I was bullied quite a bit. For years, I couldn't even look in the mirror. After seeing myself through the eyes of my fellow artists, I started to understand the true nature of beauty, the subjectivity of it, and how important it was for me to love myself. It's still an uphill battle, every day, but I have come so far. And seeing these works of art, and getting to collaborate with such wonderful artists in the process, is helping my heart grow each day.
